FAQs
Do I have to be fully sober to attend the Steady Sunday meetings?
Nope! We welcome people wherever they are in their sobriety journey, including those who are still figuring things out. It’s the mix of perspectives that makes this group unique.
How do I access the meetings?
Our free meetings take place via Zoom. All Zoom links are posted in the Steady Sunday Discord channel ~15 minutes before each meeting.
How old are the members of this group?
Most of us are in our twenties or thirties!
Is this a twelve-step program?
No! Some of our members attend AA as well as Steady Sunday meetings, but this is not a traditional 12-step program or community.
Can I remain anonymous?
Yes! You are not required to talk or turn your camera on in our Zoom meetings if you don’t want to. Just make sure you change your Zoom name prior to the meeting if you’d like to remain anonymous.
Do I have to be located in the US to join?
No! The best thing about an online community is the ability to connect with people from all over the world.
What topics are covered in the weekly meetings?
In our weekly Check-In Meetings, members can share what’s going well, what feels challenging, and anything they’d like support on. You’re welcome to ask for advice or simply use the space to vent. Conversations often center on sobriety, along with other topics such as—
• mental health related issues/wins
• eating disorders and body image
• grief
• family and relationships
• school and work stress
